Altitude: Dharamshala is around 1,457 meters (4,780 feet) while McLeod Ganj is slightly higher at about 2,082 meters (6,831 feet).

Snowfall: Yumthang Valley, also known as the "Valley of Flowers," is renowned for its natural beauty and receives snowfall during the winter months. Some patches of snow might still be present in the summer, particularly in higher reaches.


Tso Moriri Lake, Ladakh

Altitude: Around 4,595 meters (15,075 feet)

Snowfall: Located in the Changthang region of Ladakh, Tso Moriri Lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. While the lake itself does not freeze completely in the summer, snow can be found in the surrounding areas.
